KHTP Skills Centre is the official training arm of Kulim Advanced Technologies Sdn. Bhd. (KTechno), located within the Kulim Hi-Tech Park (KHTP) in Kedah, Malaysia. It was launched as part of a strategic initiative to supply industry-relevant talent to meet the growing demands of high-tech industries in the region. Operated by KTechno (founded since 1996) — a subsidiary of Kulim Technology Park Corporation—the centre focuses on both vocational and professional upskilling for Malaysian youths and graduates, with a strong emphasis on job placement and industry certification.
KHTP Skills Centre is equipped with modern industry-grade equipment and facilities to simulate real-world working environments, ensuring that trainees are job-ready upon completion. Many graduates are placed in companies within KHTP or other industrial hubs throughout Malaysia. The centre plays a critical role in supporting the state and federal government’s ambition to strengthen the talent pipeline for Malaysia’s technology sector. Located at the KHTP Techno Centre, it also benefits from being within close proximity to some of the country’s most advanced manufacturing and R&D companies.
